Cassper Nyovest Gives Back To Kids In His Hometown, Maftown! Cassper Nyovest – real name Refiloe Maele Phoolo was born and bred in Montshioa Extension in Mafikeng, known as the Capital city of the North West Province.

His love for rap begun at the age of 6. He dropped out of high school to pursue his dream of becoming a rapper. “I announced to my parents, I’d rather chase my dream, which I believe will work out, rather than keeping it safe and regret it my whole life,” he once said in an interview

Cassper has gone on to achieve great things for him himself and put his hometown on a map. Now he’s giving back to the place where it all started for him. According to @BridgeBossTLee on twitter, Cassper booked out a cinema for Maftown kids to watch the local film #Matwetwe.

“The looks on the 200 kids faces meant everything, excitement & gratitude. You either serious bout uplifting your community or you ain’t. Truly moved,” BridgeBossTLee shared on twitter. Cassper has not said anything himself, doing good in silence.
