Tshwane! Zakes Bantwini is heading back to thrill with another sensory Glenmorangie Experience

Tshwane, you demanded it and we’re delivering the goods! After bringing the house down with his Glenmorangie Experience set at Propaganda last year, this time Zakes Bantwini is returning to Tshwane’s hottest entertainment venue on 26 May 2023.

He’ll be joined by singer-songwriter and frequent collaborator Nana Atta, who is making waves on the local music scene with her “African sound therapy” and her latest EP, Emakhosini.

Armed with his recent Grammy and having just been nominated for two Metro FM Music Awards for Asanda (alongside Kusasa and Argento Dust), Bantwini is riding the crest of a wave.

May’s Glenmorangie Experience return performance at Propaganda – the fifth in this highly successful series of nationwide gigs – is poised to be as memorable as the previous one, with high-end sound, decor and an immersive sensory experience complete with a distinctive “orangie” twist.

Says Bantwini, ““Tshwane, I’m coming back! You gave me such a warm welcome the last time the Glenmorangie Experience rolled into town that I just had to make sure we did again. It’s also a really special week for me as I celebrate my birthday and I look forward to celebrating with you. Let’s get the good times flowing and toast to the power of music and bringing people together!”

Adds Josh Piketh, Brand Manager for Glenmorangie in South Africa, “Everyone’s still talking about Zakes’s recent performances around the country – he’s clearly an artist at the top of his game. So we decided to bring the Glenmorangie Experience back to Tshwane after its phenomenal success there last year, and are planning to take the event to KwaZulu-Natal next – watch this space for more details.”
Coming on board again is Legends Barbershop, in a partnership that promises to surprise and delight. Says Asanda, Marketing Manager of Legends, “For Legends Barbershop, partnering with a brand like Glenmorangie for the #GlenmorangieExperience is a great fit; before settling in to groove, head to our pop-up barbershop to get a fresh cut or tight fade.”
