DR Malinga and Kwesta set to make hearts warm and fuzzy

South African – Kwaito star features our well-known rapper Kwesta; they have collaborated and produced what we call a love song. Who could have thought Dr Malinga producing a love song?

Dr Malinga has been a busy man with his resorts underway; it surprised us when he mentioned the release of his track “Indlela” only a few days after sharing a tease of the song being on its way. What seems to be amazing is the response it has received throughout social media and the country at large. It appears to have caught the attention they desired and people have, without haste put it in their hearts. It has been little time since they have released the track, making it a success overnight. And people were not expecting a collaboration with Dr Malinga and Kwesta, it came as strange or maybe a surprise. 

Dr Malinga is normally known for upbeat party tracks, but this time he slowed it down a bit, and fans really don’t mind. One fan remarked: “Who knew Dr Malinga could make a love song and make it sound so good?”, and that’s the general sentiment of Mzansi. This may have been an unusual collab on paper, but it definitely worked out great.

If you are a fan or maybe you have landed your ears on his music, you would understand his type of music, buoyant – upbeat Kwaito sound.  But this time he went out of his comfort zone, broke the status quo and his fans are still behind him. Talk about creativity at risk. Well played Dr Malinga. Overall he has served us as usual and the dish seems to be a favourite.
