Congrats! Khaya Mthethwa Announced To Be Partaking In A Major Role For ‘The Lion King’ Movie – The hype has been strong circulating the motion picture, and we all know it hits our Mzansi cinemas tonight.

So, one of our own musician, not forgetting Idols season 8 winner Khaya Mthethwa has been granted the opportunity to showcase his talent worldwide as he directs The Lion King’s Choral music.

His wife was the initial person to break the news on social media, the former Miss SA winner, Ntandoyenkosi Mthethwa. It is so beautiful to witness his growth as a musician, it only seems like yesterday when he was singing back up for Joyous Celebration and on the stage auditioning for Idols South Africa, wow, how time flies.

This is what his wife’s caption had to say:

“God has elevated you so much. Everything you touch turns into magic. I am so proud of you my love. Your hard work and attention to detail are only a few characteristics that make you the best in your field. Onwards and Upwards baby. Meet the Choral Music Director for the Lion King movie  PS: I will not get a T-shirt that says: ‘My Husband is the Choral Director’ #LionKing,” she wrote.

We need to remember Beyoncé’s Titled “The Lion King” album reveals she worked tirelessly to produce “a love letter to Africa” and explicated how she was able to erupt a contemporary genre of music through the component sounds that portray an image of what transpires in the motion picture. In that list, we have our fellow South Africans, Busiswa, Moonchild, Anatti who attributed in distinct roles and produced music in the album.
