House Vocalist Nokwazi Is Being Accused Of Failing To Appear For A Paid Gig – She sings in harmony with the lead, it does not matter if she is alone or with others, her vocals always do the job.

Her capacity to sing is one of the desirable skills that has led to Nokwazi being one of the most sought after session singers in the studio. Now, it has been mentioned that event promoter DJ Thonsi is indignant with Nokwazi Dlamini following she evidently was a no a show to arrive for paid gigs.

The promoter Thonsi – real name Mfundo Nkosi (29), stated he got a call from Nokwazi in April pleading him for shows to perform.

According to Daily Sun, “She was supposed to perform at five shows around Mpumalanga. I paid her R8 000 deposit,” he said.

He has granted the SunTeam, evidence, a bank statement demonstrating he had deposited the money. Everything was set in place.

When Nokwazi was contacted about the matter, she said she had no details concerning the bookings. “My manager is the one who handles all the bookings.”

Although the manager, Velaphi Hlatshwayo, explicated to Daily Sun, yes, she was indeed booked, although they were waiting for a complete fee beforehand, and only presented with a deposit. There was also a revelation to how they were mistreated the last time they performed for them. They were subjected to sleep in an undignified manner as their clients, slept in “Backrooms.”

Although Thonsi denied the allegation and asserted he treats all his artists with respect and dignity.
