Pic! Simphiwe Dana Takes Us Back To Her Skinny Old Days – Simphiwe Dana our Xhosa singer and song-writer. We love her for her distinct amalgamation of Jazz, Afro-soul, Rap and Traditional music, she has been hailed as the “new Miriam Makeba”.
Commencing from 2002, she sang in small clubs in Johannesburg, where she began attracting attention.
She made a paramount impact in South Africa with the emancipation of her 2004 of Zandisile.
