The Newly Weds Dumi Mkokstad And Ziphozenkosi Talk Wedding Journey, Their Experience & “Other Ladies” Controversy – Our gospel star recently tied the knot, he announced he was in matrimony to his wife Dr Ziphozenkosi Mthembu on social media, which shocked most of his followers.

According to Daily Sun, the sacred event took place at Ziphozenkosi’s home in Thornville in Pietermaritzburg, KZN.

The anointed vocalist, award-winning, the producer asked for a hand in marriage to Ziphozenkosi throughout the Easter Weekend trip to the Eastern Cape in 2019, and now he and his beautiful bride have become one, they look incredible together. This is gorgeous to observe!

The opening ceremony entailed of Dumi Mkokstad singing a beautiful tune composed for his wife, when you observe the visuals she was teary, how, cute!

“We met, I think we were 8 at church, her dad is my bishop, I think the first conference that we were together, we used to play outside together with other kids.“

They have known each other ever since and became friends. They were in courtship beginning late last year.

How did he propose?

“What was nice, it was private is that there was nobody there, I knew that he was going to come for lobola, he surprised me by proposing a week before the lobola. It was just the two of us and he just went down on one knee, I was very shocked” – Ziphozenkosi

Talks about the wedding look:
“It was the best day of my life and actually thought would have a very small wedding, very very small with not much people, but I was like you know let’s just go all out. We did not invite a lot of people but it was really a fairytale and then two days later we had our traditional wedding, kind of umembeso.” – Ziphozenkosi

“There was a lady who went to the newspaper and said I had promised to marry her and I left in Thursday morning saying that I am going to shoot a music video, only to find out” – Dumi Mkokstad

“Apparently it is Amanda Something Bhengu” she sent the newspaper people a conversation between the two, I do not have WhatsApp, I have not had WhatsApp SINCE 2014 for my privacy. And the whole thing around it saying I was hiding the whole thing” – Dumi Mkokstad
