How Much Heavy K Gets Paid Per DJing Gig – Hit producer Heavy K, has opened up on his humble beginnings, and if you know where he comes from, then you know he has come along way.
The house producer has grown to become one of the biggest producers in South African, having released hits upon hits for half a decade. Heavy K has previously revealed his family were poor.
He comes from a poverty Striken background. He had loving parents who did what they could, with what they afforded. He taught himself to be a music composer, producer, songwriter and a DJ. He founded a music producing group Point 5. At the age of 16, he produced Professor’s hit ‘Lento’.
In 2009 he was acquainted Oskido, an iconic producer and DJ, he associated himself with the ‘I Believe’ program so that Heavy K could harness his skills as a skilled producer and DJ.
In 2013 he released his debut album ‘Respect The Drumboss 2013’
He took to social media to share his humble beginnings, he listed how much he got paid when he started off, which was about R2000 – R5000. Now, when he reminisces on how far he has come, to touring the continent and getting paid R100 000 and more per set, it is surreal to the prominent DJ to comprehend.
