The SABC Is Set To Launch An Investigation Into Umhlobo Wenene “Snubbing” Zahara’s Music – Zahara has been touring around the world and doing well for herself.
Now fans started asking questions to why her music was not being played on the SABC Mhlobowenene.
According to TshisaLive, The SABC has confirmed that it has initiated an analysis into the allegations from Zahara’s fans that Umhlobo Wenene FM appears to be boycotting the country singer and her music.
The Mthwalo hitmaker addressed TshisaLIVE that upon her arrival to the soils of South Africa following a lengthy tour of about two months, interchanging between America and Canada.

But she did not reveal the condition of her relationship with the station and the cause why she may have been ignored, although she asserted it does not involve her ex-fiance Amaza Ntshanga working at the station.
According to TshisaLIVE, the SABC explained it took the claims with conviction and had established an investigation.
“The SABC can confirm that it takes the allegations seriously and has instituted an investigation into the claims made, that Zahara is being snubbed by Umhlobo Wenene FM and the station has subsequently unscheduled her music on the station’s playlist
“It must be noted that the SABC remains committed to ensuring the promotion of local music, as it delivers on its mandate as a public service broadcaster,” SABC spokesperson, Vuyo Mthembu, said.
