Simphiwe Dana Weighs In On The Xenophoboic Attacks – The recent attacks — shaped by xenophobia — focused at foreign nationals, in South Africa, have accumulated international criticism.

Now, as a result, some artists who were scheduled for gigs in the country have revealed that they will no longer be performing.

When you observe, for now at least, that the widespread xenophobic attacks and looting targeted at foreign-owned shops around Gauteng have seem to have slowed down.

President Cyril Ramaphosa condemned the attacks on foreign-owned stores and vowed to work closely with the police and ministers in the security cluster to bring an end to the widespread violence we have bore witness to this past week.
