The Ndlovu Youth Choir persists in raising the flag of South Africa, at this year’s America’s Got Talent.
Well, in case you leave under a rock, Last night, Ndlovu Youth Choir managed to attract and garner Global applause for their spin on “Higher Love” by Whitney Houston and Kygo’s Steve Winwood.
Ndlovu Youth Choir are proof of what remaining original staying “authentic and giving the African experience” to an American audience. There they are, parading their colourful African beads and spitting phrases such as “poverty”, “dreams” and “the sky’s the limit” with huge energy and hopeful smiles.
As South Africans, we are beaming with pride, how they have saturated into the American mainstream.
