Tresor Riziki Reveals His Appreciation To AKA For His Contribution In The African Music Scene
Tresor Reveals His Appreciation To AKA For His Contribution In The African Music Scene – South Africa-based Congolese musician TRESOR has collaborated with AKA from his album Nostalgia.
Sticking to the nostalgia theme, just like the previous songs he has released from the album, “Electric Night,” which features AKA, references South Africa’s bubblegum genre, which was popular in the 80s.
This is the second collaboration from the two artists. Their 2015 collaboration “Mount Everest,” was also reminiscent of the bubblegum era.
AKA’s comments about Nigeria sparked debate, and his former bestie, Burna Boy, claimed he would never come to South Africa again. AKA expressed that he couldn’t believe that all the “hate” started from just a soccer tweet.
After he was tagged in a tweet with other Nigerian artists who were also part of the debate last week, AKA laughed off the tweet and said: “You guys really have it in for me ne?”
This is what a fan had to say, suggesting AKA must collaborate with Nigerian artists.
AKA responded:
And thats when Tresor came through to agree and show appreciation to his contribution to the unity of Africans.
