It has been catastrophic, social media and the public restless for weeks in South Africa with attacks by looters on foreign-owned shops and foreign nationals across Gauteng.
On the other hand, South Africans, celebrities, have been using their platform and to the streets in protest against gender-based violence, calling for harsher punishment for perpetrators and action from government.
Zakes Bantwini took to social media to share his performance on the express show, taking part in saying enough is enough with the killing and femicide directed at women.
