Black Coffee Explains Why He Added AKA On The Line – Up For Music Is King

Black Coffee Explains Why He Added AKA On The Line – Up For Music Is King – It has come as a surprise that Black Coffee has added AKA on the lineup, three years following their PUBLIC “beef’.

When you observe the line-up for this year’s event – Music, which was publicised on Wednesday it comprises of Sjava, Moonchild, Nomuzi, Distruction Boyz, Muzi, Jazz Disciples, Samthing Soweto and popular UK muso Tom Misch.

The event will take place in Johannesburg on December 14, at the Ticketpro Dome, and in Durban on December 15, at the Kings Park Outer Fields.

Black Coffee addressed the media on Wednesday, he explained he chose artists who were distinct and produced phenomenal music, adding that the reason for the concert was to commemorate music and amalgamate the industry.

“It is not about who sells the most or who is cooler, it is about music. We are trying to create a melting pot of different kinds of music. Whether the artist is big or small, as long as we feel they will bring something to the line-up.”
