Kamo Mphela Drops Official Music Video For ‘Nkulunkulu’. Amapiano vocalist and dancer Kamo Mphela, recently choreographed Spotify’s African Heat global campaign, which had dancers from Lagos, London, Accra, New York City, and herself together with her dance crew. The star is now dancing her way to success with her forthcoming EP.
Finally Kamo Mphela released her highly anticipated new single “Nkulunkulu” and the song is accompanied by visuals serve as her first official song and release under her company, Kamo Mphela Entertainment. ‘Nkulunkulu’ is the lead track to her upcoming project, which is expected to drop on the 9th of April. The 4-track EP features some of amapiano’s biggest names including Vigro Deep, Reece Madlisa, Zuma, Major League DJz and amonga few other talented musos.
‘Nkulunkulu’ translated in English means God and the lyrics are a catchy prayer for wealth, happiness and a life full of blessings and prosperity. The 21-year old musician and dancer took to social media to announce that the ‘Nkulunkulu’ music video will also drop the same day as the track. “The “Nkulunkulu” official music video, which features religious imagery and blazing dance scenes, also premiered on YouTube today,” tweeted Kamo.
The talented artist has been teasing the song since November 2020 and is thrilled about its official release. “Finally! I’m beyond excited to drop my very own song,” said Kamo Mphela in a statement. “I’ve been working on a project for some time now and ‘Nkulunkulu’ is the first of many new songs from me. I can’t wait for my fans to hear and dance along with me to my music.”
Content creator Lasizwe was among those who congratulate Kamo on her new track which she was also the choreographer for for the dance moves featured on the music video. Taking to his Twitter account, Lasizwe wrote: I am super excited on behalf of Kamo Mphela. Do you understand this is her first OWN music video basically it’s her first born! Goodluck Mama!
