Pics! Shimza Pays A Visit To Maps Maponya’s Resturant – Burgers and beers – that’s what you’ll find at the latest new addition to Joburg’s ever-growing Linden restaurant scene. 

Buns Out, which officially opened its doors just a few weeks ago, will focus solely on burgers in all its glorious forms: classic, veggie, gourmet and even vegan.

Thomas Savage of Savage Holdings (who has previously worked behind brands such as Social on Main and Saigon Suzy in Parkwood) has teamed up with Maps Maponyane (foodie, SA celeb and co-host of the Eat Out Mercedes-Benz Restaurant Awards) to open this quirky new eatery located on 7th Street, Linden. “We aren’t traditional in our offering, and we are a bit more New York-style and casual,” explains Thomas of the new venture.

Shimza took to social media to share an image of himself and the famous “Buns Out” Burger and chips owned by Maps Maponyane. It’s rather a beautiful gesture from him to support a fellow brethren.
