Prince Kaybee Disappointed After His Song Was ‘Sampled’: These Rappers Lack Creativity

Prince Kaybee Disappointed After His Song Was ‘Sampled’: These Rappers Lack Creativity – The advent of the sampler in the ’80s brought a long tradition of musical borrowing into the digital age.

Today, “sampling,” or repurposing a snippet of another artist’s music, is mainstream. Is sampling theft, or is copyright lawmaking creativity a crime?

But digital technologies, from Pro Tools to YouTube, have made everyone into a producer. We live in a world of remixes and mash-ups and samples, taking other people’s work, remaking it into something new.

But the problem is – but the problem is, remixing someone else’s work without their permission might be a good way to get sued, a copyright infringement perhaps.

Prince Kaybee recently found himself engulfed in the same predicament.

Prince Kaybee’s contribution to the music scene is undoubtedly one to be reckoned with. Kaybee was faced with a situation recently, where he had to call out rappers who allegedly sampled his song without his permission.

Kaybee condemned the rappers in a tweet, following a post of a video with his sampled song playing in the background.

“Why you guys taking my song and calling it ugologo? WTF is going on? These rappers lack creativity sampling everything.”
