Major Artists DJ Zinhle Helped Put On – Following the success of her 2019 single Umlilo, Africa’s biggest female DJ, Zinhle dropped a new track titled Go featuring rising star Lucille Slade and Dr Duda.
Zinhle has been teasing the song over the last couple of weeks on her social media and fans have been going crazy. And now it appears the star has heeded the fans’ cry for her to release of the record.
She believes in putting artists on a platform, because it doesn’t take away anything for her, but it does a lot for them.

1 .Busiswa
We were first introduced to Busiswa Gqulu, previously known as Kalawa Chikita, as that strong, confident voice on DJ Zinhle’s My Name Is. Since then, Busiswa has made one club banger to the next– from Lahla to Ngoku – and has proved that she is a force to reckon with.
2. Rethabile
Rethabile DM’d Zinhle and said that she wanted to work with her. Zinhle actually replied to Rethabile, unlike most DJs. How fantastic. Talk about reaching and putting yourself out there with the hope that such a big artist would respond.
Rethabile has previously mentioned she was with her friends when she realised that she replied to my DM. Though it took some time to get the song right, Zinhle has once mentioned after adding Rethabile’s vocals they knew that it was a hit.
3. Mvzzle
Mvzzle explained how he met Zinhle and the collaboration came about. He met Zinhle when she was a judge on the show 1s and 2s. HE was one of the top three, so after that, he sent her a beat, actually, he sent her three beats, and she said, ‘OK, Mvzzle said Zinhle decided to go with the beat of the now hit song.
4. Lucille Slade
On Friday, 13 March 2020 DJ Zinhle with Dr Duda released their joint single, Go!, featuring Lucille Slade. The single is an upbeat, afro-house single which has a heavy drop bass complementing the raspy vocals of Lucille Slade, who is marking her debut into the mainstream South African music scene. The single speaks about Lucille challenging her love interest to take a leap of faith and start a new life with her.
