South African hip hop has proven to be a pretty tough industry, really cut throat. Many rappers go toe to toe with each other with hits. There are also upcoming hip hop artists who want to be at the top with the best of the best. However, some artists just mess up the opportunities that they have with their actions. That’s why Cassper Nyovest went on social media to give advice to the upcoming rappers.
The hip hop artist and owner of Family Tree told the upcoming rappers what they shouldn’t say in the early stages of their career. “Just a young word for upcoming rappers and producers [right] now. Now is not the time to talk recklessly. You have your whole career ahead of you and someday you might need someone so, don’t burn bridges for like and RTs. Just a lil word. Take it, don’t take it, it’s up to you,” says Cassper Nyovest. Black Twitter reacted to the tweet by Mufasa. One tweep says, “Greatness just tweeted!”
One tweep says, “That’s the word of an OG [thank you] Fifi I stan this.” One tweep says, “That’s the [Cassper Nyovest] I know…This is the character people confuse with “Playin humbleness” the Cassper I know always spread positivity…” Some tweeps that the tweet is directed to Emtee because of what he said to the hip hop artist.
