People haven’t been seeing Micasa doing music as a trio for quite some time. Now, the band has been working to make another awesome album. The trio, consisting of Dr Duda, J’ Something and Mo-T, has released a premiere of their official music video for their album’s single titled ‘Church Bells’.
In an Instagram post, the lead singer J’ Something said that even though the group is happy to release their new album, they hoped it would be under a different circumstance. “…I never have never been this excited to release new music. Not only because we’re celebrating 10 [years] together as a band but, this music has so much depth! Right now where we are in the world, it’s tough, uncomfortable and quite scary and we’ve been blessed with the gift of music to share with the world. That’s humbling. So everything feels new again, the sound, our look…our passion,” says J’ Something. He then went on to say what they lost as a band due to this pandemic.
They had European and local tours planned for their upcoming album that had to be cancelled. J’ Something says even though they had already had plans, the album is for the fans. The music video gives Micasa fans a sign of hope in this harsh time of the 2020 year.
