For some of our celebs there is a story behind their road to success. Some celebs have a story to tell about they got their foot in the industry. One of the celebs who has a story to tell about how they began their career in the industry is DJ Fresh.

The radio personality credits Oskido for leaving him at the DJ booth as he was about to go to the toilet. The story was a reaction to Steve Harvey’s story about moving on one’s idea immediately and not waiting. The event happened on December 12 1992. “Was still learning how to mix! Introduced myself to [Oskido] at a gig…he needed a quick loo break and asked me to play the next song!!! Was poop scared but wasn’t about to tell him that I am still learning…,” says DJ Fresh.

The radio personality just jumped right into the situation. DJ Fresh went on saying, “Mix actually worked out…I looked around…still no Oskido!! Mixed the next record…and a friendship was born!!! Will forever love this man [because] that day changed my self belief and trajectory!!” Oskido says, “When preparation meets opportunity the rest is up to GOD.
