On Friday, the Google Doodle celebrated the Mbira. The Mbira is a Zimbabwean instrument, to celebrate the instrument, DJ Zinhle spoke about how she misses going to Zimbabwe. Before the lockdown came the house music producer was a regular visitor to the country for her gigs.

The DJ went on to speak about how she misses going to Zimbabwe for her gigs and hearing the instrument being played at the airport. “I really miss travelling to Zimbabwe for gigs and hearing the Mbira everytime I would land at the airport! Hearing it always gave me a feeling of comfort & joy and because I am a DJ I think it resonates with me even more,” says DJ Zinhle. Social media users reacted to the tweet by the DJ.
