Former Idols SA Contestant Plans On Using Her Business Degree To Excel Her Music Career. Former Idols South Africa contestant Angel Mazibuko has now received her qualification in the Bachelor of commerce with economic and marketing majors on Friday.

Former Idols South Africa contestant Angel Mazibuko has now received her qualification in the Bachelor of commerce with economic and marketing majors on Friday. The songwriter and YouTuber graduated at the University of KwaZulu-Natal in its first virtual graduation that was publicised on SABC 3. The former Idols South Africa contestant felt as if it was significant to study the course so that she could run her music business professionally.

The musician went on to recount her earliest memory of her love of music. “The earliest memory I have of music is of my mother teaching me to harmonise with her when she sang. She was and still is a choir master. My father always had a guitar at home, and that’s what got me interested in that particular instrument.” She then went on to speak about how learning about business has helped her.

She thus speaks about how she understands business since she learned about it. “Learning about the business world opened up new ideas and led to the understanding that with the right skills, anything can be bottled and sold,” says Angel Mazibuko.
