R&B Now Radio with Nadeska launched on Apple Music

Nadeska Alexis has been a longtime ambassador of all things NYC hip-hop and beyond. Here, on R&B Now Radio, she’s bringing that same level of knowledge and expertise to her new weekly show on Apple Music.

Based on the popular Apple Music playlist of the same name, this show brings a mix of in-depth interviews with established and rising stars, must-hear exclusive tracks, and songs featured on other popular Apple Music R&B playlists.

Whether you’re in the mood for the latest slow burners or looking to discover the artists who are pushing the genre’s boundaries, Nadeska has you covered.

“As someone who has a deep appreciation for R&B, and came of age listening to artists like TLC, Brandy and Aaliyah, I’ve been very excited by the resurgence and diversity we’ve seen in the genre over the past few years,” said Apple Music host Nadeska Alexis. “Bringing Apple Music’s R&B Now playlist to life with a weekly show gives me a chance to spotlight rising artists and new movements, revisit nostalgic moments, and have bigger conversations about the evolution of the R&B landscape.”

On the debut episode of R&B Now, Nadeska is joined by Kehlani via FaceTime who breaks down her star-studded new album ‘It Was Good Until It Wasn’t’ and tells Apple Music: “this might be my favorite project I’ve ever put out.” Kehlani also reveals why it was the right time to release this project, speaks about creating the music videos for the album from home while quarantined with her daughter, and explains how Drake helped name the project.
