Sho Madjozi has been bagging awards since she began getting into the music game. The artist has brought in a vibrant personality and she shows pride in being African, which has brought her loyal fans. The musician now gets love from kids as she bags the 2020 Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Award for ‘Favourite African Star’.

The Tsonga hip hop artist had a message for the world. “Nickelodeon thank you for this amazing award and to everyone that voted. I am so excited! World we have one message for you, Africa is coming and we are coming for you,” Sho Madjozi told TshisaLive. She was amongst big African stars such as Shekhinah, Patricia Kihoro and Teni.

One more South African person to win an award was social media influencer Prev Reddy. Prev won an award for ‘Favourite African Social Media Star’. He was alongside social media stars such as DJ Cuppy, Anne Kansiime and Chane Grobler. The award show is set to be aired on Nicktoonz on Friday, 8 May 2020. Victoria Justice is the host of the 2020 virtual awards.
