On Tuesday, Bontle Modiselle and her husband Priddy Ugly found themselves trending on social media after a social media user posted a tweet that was supposed to motivate people. The post also included Kwesta and his wife too. However, a statement that the person said about Priddy Ugly and Bontle Modiselle had people on social media ridiculing them.
The couple, known as Rick Jade, have responded to the tweet. They didn’t seem to like the tweet that suggested that Bontle Modiselle used to pay for Priddy Ugly’s studio time when he was supposedly broke. “Kwesta started dating he’s wife when he was still a nobody…Bontle [Modiselle] used to pay for Priddy Ugly’s studio when Priddy was still broke…Lesson behind this: ladies build your man and grind & hustle with him, believe in his dreams regardless of his background and his situation,” says the social media user. Some of the tweeps insinuated that Bontle Modiselle is still supporting Priddy to this day. Bontle didn’t like what was said about her relationship on social media.
Bontle Modiselle stated that the advice was awful. She also states that the same tweet has made its way to them several times. “That exact unoriginal tweet has come up countless times, followed by the exact reaction and statements made on us. Nothing new. I doubt this the last time something like this comes up again, but still, we shall keep the same unbothered energy. Either way, all is well with me and my family. I hope for the same for you,” says Bontle Modiselle. Priddy Ugly also responded to the tweet made about him. “I’d just like to say that I have never had a studio session that needed to be payed for. Find peace.”
