Former Kwaito child star Mzambiya has changed his stage name now. Mzambiya used to takeover the South African music charts in the late 90s and early 2000s era. The artist has now chosen to call himself Zeekode.
The new stage name is actually his clan name. The artist had his new debut as Zeekode with a track titled ‘Tot Tot Tot’ featuring Authentic101. The track is produced by legendary music producer and fellow musician DJ Cleo. The new track was performed by the artist on DJ Cleo’s set at the Lockdown House Party on Channel O.
The musician told Sunday World why he chose to changed his name to Zeekode. He states that he is now a family man. “I’m no longer a child star. When Bhut Oscar discovered me, I was still a child. Today, I’m a family man and my son should identify with our surname Zwane, and my clan name Zikode,” says the artist formerly known as Mzambiya.
