Hip hop artist Pitch Black Afro did not show up in court on Wednesday for the judgement at his murder trial. The musician has been in court for the murder of his wife Catherine Modisane, he was in for also defeating the ends of justice. He was supposed to be taken to the South Gauteng High Court with other prisoners but he didn’t appear.

A police official came at the court room where the hip hop artist’s judgement was supposed to be laid and stated that Pitch Black Afro was left behind, so the court date on Wednesday was cancelled. Pitch Black Afro is in prison for allegedly murdering his wife in a B&B on the 30th of December in 2019. The hip hop artist acknowledged the allegations that were set against him.

However, he later on changed his statement entirely. He claimed that he was coerced by the police officials to make the confession. Judge J Du Plessis has discovered the hip hop artist’s statement to be valid. The court date has been moved to Thursday.
