Candy Tsamandebele Scores Acting Role On Skeem Saam! Earlier this week, the singer opened up about her financial woes due to the COVID-19 pandemic stating that she has had to rely on food vouchers to survive.

“I applied for relief from the department of sports, arts ad culture but haven’t received anything. It is difficult,” Candy said. Things might be looking up for the singer who said she was relying on her mothers R600 to buy food as she has scored a new acting role on Skeem Saam.

Candy is joining the hit drama series playing the role of Bafedile, a 50 year old lady whose comeback to Turfloop after numerous years has sent shockwaves amongst Turfloop residents.

“I have never thought that I had an acting talent because I always focused on music because I always knew that I have the voice. Bagging this role just reminded me of my previous acting role and I believe that God is really blessing me. I am still excited. I just cannot wait to see myself on TV again, maybe then I’ll believe that I am part of the Skeem Saam family,” she said.
