DJ Zinhle’s PJ Party Partners With MTV Base
DJ Zinhle‘s PJ Party partners with MTV Base. DJ Zinhle has been having her PJ Party since April 2020, the show is streamed live from Facebook and it features other female artists and DJ’s. The South African house DJ has now partnered with MTV Base to bring the PJ Party to our screens, the show is to showcase every Saturday from the 11th of July.
PJ Party will showcase on Saturdays at 18:00 on DSTV channel 322, it will bring the hottest young female DJ’s. The PJ Party has been a popular virtual show of the award winning DJ. DJ Zinhle has been shooting PJ Party in her bedroom whilst wearing stylish pyjama’s, she puts her DJ equipment in her room and then broadcast to the public. She has featured many vocalists such as DBN Gogo and DJ Helen King.
The Umlilo hitmaker has also featured her daughter Kairo on her PJ Party virtual show. The music night show has also gained over 200k views on its first show. Many other female artists such as Nandi Madida and Moozlie have tuned in to watch the show. Zinhle also releases a playlist of the songs she has played on the show at the end of the show., so that the watchers can go and find the songs and listen to them after enjoying DJ Zinhle mix them,
PJ Party will no longer be on its usual social media format, the show now being on television opens it up to more fans and audiences. As is focuses on promoting female artists, it will be a great platform for them to share their music. The house music industry is male dominated, it will be refreshing for audiences to be introduced to female artists who are still new to the DJing scene.
