Moonchild Sanelly spoke about the importance of teaching children and giving them sex education. The singer tweeted “Instead of hiding me, u should start conversations Coz life is gonna happen whether u like it or not! Kids have sex, then have no one to talk to coz u have instilled fear and tagged sex as a bad leading to curiosity without education!”.

The ‘Bashiri‘ singer has always been open about freedom of sex and being confident in ones body. Many had challenged her that it seems as if she is for selling sex and that she does not speak about using protection. Her followers engaged her in sharing their opinions on why children should also be taught about the details of sex and protection when the still young so that they do not fall into mistakes.

The conversation went from when the blue haired singer had tweeted and many tweeps had challenged her for what she had been saying. She tweeted “There”s different things to talk about and a lot. First hurdle was letting u know what I stand for isn’t selling sex. When we get passed that, we can go to next! I’m not saying people must have sex, im saying if u do be liberated in it.”.

In agreement with one of her followers Moonchild agreed that parents should not only teach their children about abstaining, but should share with them details about protection and other factors and sex should not be painted as a big bath thing.

Sex education among adults as well is important as the singer talks about when people have sex they should be liberated in it. The only way for one to be sexual and liberal is when they engage in topics about things that are considered as taboos and more. She further said today’s parents should change the narrative of sex with their children.
