Rethabile And Winnie Khumalo Clarify The Issue Of Prince Kaybee And Producer Who Was First Supposed To Be In Rethabile’s Song. Prince Kaybee recently had to protect himself from a music producer who was formerly featured on Rethabile Khumalo’s ‘Isvunguvungu’.
Prince Kaybee recently had to protect himself from a music producer who was formerly featured on Rethabile Khumalo’s ‘Isvunguvungu’. The singer’s vocals were supposed to be on DJ Trumpet SA’s beat at the beginning. However, the daughter of Winnie Khumalo decided to move to Prince Kaybee’s beat.
Prince Kaybee was thus caught in the fire of the producer’s disappointment as he was mentioned in the social media posts, even though he tried to clear his name from the issue. Prince Kaybee says the musician came to the studio and recorded on a beat that he gave her. “I’m so angry at her because she did not tell me she recorded with you first. I apologize for this, I have called her mother and told her all about this,” says Prince Kaybee. He expressed his apologies. Winnie Khumalo and Rethabile Khumalo recorded a video explaining the situation.
They cleared the name of the ‘Hosh’ musician from the situation. Winnie Khumalo went on to state that they work with different producers. She stated that they have the right to use their lyrics the way they want and so do producers with the beats. She thus stated that they gave Prince Kaybee to use the song because there was no element of another producer in the song. Rethabile Khumalo also reiterated the rights that she has with her vocals. The producer apologised to Prince Kaybee.
