It is reported that the song night have brought in about R4 million in advertisement revenue. The stats were brought in by Social Blade, a site that looks at user stats on social media platforms such as Twitch, Twitter, Youtube and Instagram.
The results from the site show that the Open-mic Productions page has received over 61 million views over the August month. According to YouTube, the revenue for the views could result in between an amount of over R257k and over R4 million from advertisements on the record label’s page. ‘Jerusalema’ has been making waves all over the world, being played in almost every club around the world.
The track even ended up having its own challenge titled #JerusalemaDanceChallenge. Nomcebo Zikode and Master KG are now the ambassadors to the world, appointed by Arts and Culture Minster Nathi Mthethwa under the DSAC Cultural Diplomacy Programme, while also being in the top 10 streamed list in other countries.
