Port Elizabeth born musician Naledi Boltina has released an amazing track featuring highly acclaimed Nigerian hip hop musician Ice Prince. The two musicians released a track titled ‘African King’. The musician says the track is anti-xenophobia.
“I thought the way I can work hand in hand with my brothers and sisters and show them support is by actually collaborating with them. I want to unite Africa through music,” says Naledi Boltina. The track has already been making numbers on streaming platforms. She had over 10k streams on Audiomack. The musician says the track featuring Ice Prince has already brought an audience that she has not expected and a market that she can only pray for. “Right now, I am trying to have a moment and just take it all in. I am in awe and disbelief,” says Naledi Boltina.
Naledi is not only a singer, she’s also an actress. When she was 17 she started acting on the SABC short educational film titled ‘The Lilies’. She has also been on Ferguson Films’ productions, ‘Rockville’ and ‘The Gift’. She was born in Port Elizabeth and has relocated to Nigeria.
