Twin Brother Pop Duo The SaxbyTwins Release New Single ‘Feeling Heartless’
19-year-old twin brothers Wade and Kyle Saxby, known professionally as the SaxbyTwins, are not wasting any time as they release yet another catchy pop-dance banger this week titled ‘Feeling Heartless’. This marks their third release following their two previous successful singles, both released earlier this year. Their most recent single, ‘Don’t Change You’, is still circulating on radio stations countrywide.
‘Feeling Heartless’ is an uptempo electronic pop tune written by the twins, and produced by local talent Hendrik Joerges. The song depicts a realistic image of today’s society about relationships and how trust can be broken. The relatable lyrics paint the picture of an individual going through an unexpected heartbreak and then deciding to positively move on. The upbeat club rhythms create a vibrant backdrop for their unique voices, that seem to glide effortlessly together as they croon away.
“We want this song to place you in an optimistic mood when you hear it. Although the lyrics did stem from a heartbreak, we wanted to turn that into something positive that you can get up and start dancing to,” Kyle and Wade explain.
The twins started dabbling in music around the age of 16 when they started juggling their time between playing provincial sport, finishing their homework and writing songs. They are currently studying at Stellenbosch University where they are completing a bachelor of commerce degree in Management Science.
The SaxbyTwins may be newcomers to the world of music but their modern and mature sound gives offers something unique – making the boys a formidable force in the local music space.
