Nomcebo Zikode has made a name for herself with her vocals for the highly acclaimed ‘Jerusalema’ song by Master KG. The musician has also received great support for her track ‘Xola Moya Wam’ which features Master KG from her album. The artist has gone far from when she started competing in 2003 on the Ukhozi FM talent search competition.

The musician recently performed at a News Café at Thavhani Mall in Venda. The musician can be seen singing her gold certified track ‘Xola Moya Wam’. The audience can be seen connecting with the singer as they sing the lyrics to the song. “Thanks a lot Thavhani Mall News Café Thohoyandou Venda…,” says Nomcebo Zikode. However, the video recording (which is now deleted) shows that the venue was filled almost to the brim.

This thus had social media users going off on the musician, with some asking if the coronavirus is no longer existent. One social media user says, “Corona is the thing of the past [right]?” Another social media user says, “Corona [really] [ended]?…it will end in tears.” Artists could not wait to go back to performing since the industry was under a huge financial strain during the lockdown as they were barred from doing gigs till lockdown level 1.
