Female Idols SA contestant Jerodine Madlala is expecting her second bundle of joy. The news was announced on the competition’s social media account on Sunday. “Congratulations Jerodine from the whole [Idols SA] fam on the news that you are expecting a bundle of joy,” says Idols SA on the social media platforms.

The Idols SA contestant speaks about her pregnancy and her time so far on the set of the biggest competition show in South Africa to Channel24. “It’s just the most incredible blessing that any women could ever wish for – to have the opportunity to carry life inside of you and to nurture and care for a child,” Jerodine Madlala. The singer says that she has been getting great support from the show’s production crew, viewers, her friends and family.

“The production is supportive. The contestants are supportive. My family is supportive, and my partner is supportive. So having everyone in my corner on a day-to-day basis is something that I am eternally going to be grateful for – knowing that I am not alone on this journey,” says the Idols SA contestant. The singer says she is looking forward to singing her favourite lullaby that she grew up with to her child.
