SA Celebs tend to get their social media accounts taken over by people almost every time. The people who hack these accounts tend to act as these celebs, writing something that the celeb would totally not write. NaakMusiQ is a new victim of being hacked.

However, instead of the hacker writing as the real NaakMusiQ, he changed everything. The profile picture changed and so did the content from the account. An account that claimed to be the new account of the musician states the musician was hacked. “My old account @NaakMusiQ got hacked. Please retweet this. I will follow back. Thanks,” says the supposed NaakMusiQ social media account. Social media user reacted to the tweet by the supposed new NaakMusiQ account. One social media user says, “Tweet a video of yourself, today, live, saying today’s date & confirming that this is your real account.” One social media user says, “Hommie took over Naak’s account and started living his best life…”

Some people didn’t like that the account stated that he will follow back but DJ Fresh is the one who is followed. “Retweet I’ll follow back but followed 1 person,” says one social media user. One user says, “That’s why they hack you bafanas. You asked for a retweet 10 hours ago and promised to follow back and you only following DJ Fresh out of all the 500 people who retweeted. In your hacked account you were only following 8 people out of 550k followers.” However, on Instagram, the musician has shared a post stating that since he was hacked he doesn’t have a Twitter or Facebook account. This means that the current account might not be his too.
