The news of Mshoza passing away caught the country, especially fellow celebs by surprise. The ones that were close to the kwaito superstar have expressed how hurt they are that she is gone. She passed away on Thursday, the 19th of November due to diabetes complications.
Babes Wodumo and Jub Jub are part of the people that got to experience the amazing person that was Mshoza. Babes Wodumo was supported by Mshoza when she was going through a hard time in her life, thereby also giving her some advice. “Yet another loss to the music industry. It was a great experienced knowing you [my sister]…I feel very honoured that I had a chance to work with you even though I planned to release our song on my next album alongside with other great female artists. You’ve been a great inspiration to us [growing up] as we came after you to the scene…,” says Babes Wodumo.
Jub Jub was also left really hurt by the passing away of his fellow child star. “The First Queen of Kwaito, Zojazem First Lady of Bulldawgs till today your shoes have been too much to fill and nobody could ever do what you did, how you have ikasi (the township) on your back the attitude of making sure women were put on the map. A lot of our female mc’s are holding it down because you made sure women were given a chance and for that I salute you Ntwana,” says Jub Jub.
