Lamiez Holworthy Speaks About How Her Mom Is eventually Getting Back Up After The Passing Away Of Her Dad. Losing a loved one is quite a tough situation.
Losing a loved one is quite a tough situation. It’s also very hard to pick yourself up if the person you lost is a parent or a significant other, this is what happened with club DJ Lamiez Holworthy’s mother. However, the musician’s mother seems to be getting back up on her feet after losing her husband for over a year.
Lamiez Holworthy speaks about how her mother cut her hair and watched the artist perform on Live amp. “So my mom cut her hair. And this is a pretty big deal- a year and a few months after my dad’s passing and my mom has finally started living again. I can’t tell you how happy this makes me. Last night was also the first time she watched me do Live amp (live) and went [to] my gigs,” says the DJ. The artist says that her mother is her manager.
“My mom is also my manager (has been since I started deejaying 10 years ago). Also the same person who chose [to] buy me a pair of headphones instead of paying the electricity bill (we were without lights [for] a week) [because] she believed in me that much. She also drove me [to] gigs in a security van,” says Lamiez Holworthy. Social media users showed some love to the mother for getting back up and for supporting Lamiez Holworthy’s dream.
