Master KG has made a mark for himself in 2020. The dance music producer has been reaching several milestones overseas with his song ‘Jerusalema’ featuring Nomcebo Zikode. The music producer now has an award under his belt.

He has been awarded as the best ‘ African Act’ at the 2020 MTV EMA awards. In a video recording by MTV Africa, Master KG thanked all the people involved in creating the song ‘Jerusalema’ and his supporters in South Africa, also the ones all over the world. “Shout out to South Africa’s very own [Master KG] for bringing a win home,” says MTV Africa. Social media users congratulated the music producer on his international milestone.

DJ Sbu says, “Congratulations bro well deserved guys we are proud of you.” Cubique DJ says, “Yoooo! [Master KG] did that!” One social media user says, “Keep on flying high.” One social media user says, “He won an EMA along with artists like Lady Gaga on the same night? I’m proud.” Other African Act nominees include Kabza De Small, Burna Boy, Rema, Sheebah Karungi, DJ Maphorisa and Gaz Mawete.
