Apple Music’s Africa Now Radio With Cuppy This Sunday With Stonebwoy

Ghanaian superstar Stonebwoy is this week’s cover star and joins Cuppy via FaceTime on Apple Music 1 to talk about his new single  Activate.  Stonebwoy tells Cuppy about working with his favorite artist, Nigerian superstar Davido on his new single and music video Activate, his experience visiting some parts of Ghana for the first time to shoot the video with Davido, and why he has continued to consistently release singles throughout the year.

Stonebwoy: I admire his work ethics. He’s my favorite. He is my biggest Afrobeat artist hands down, that’s my choice. I’m not even trying to cause no fight.

I think it was a beautiful weekend. Dave was coming, so, that weekend in Ghana was a filled weekend. It was actually my first time going out to some parts in Ghana. I had to take my bro out on them levels, there were road. We did the music, but actually let me say this to his credit; when he was coming into town, was like, “Ah, this time let’s do something.” I’m like, “Okay, cool.” And then I wrote out everything, and then we fixed it. I mean, that, I think, is so humbling.
