Black Coffee Responds To A Critic Saying He Doesn’t Make Music For South Africans Anymore! This was after he announced the big news regarding his latest album which hasn’t dropped yet reached 100 million streams worldwide.
Social media critics however had some criticism for the internationally acclaimed DJ. According to one twitter user, Black Coffee doesn’t make music relatable to South Africans anymore and he felt the need to let the DJ know. “Idk who Black Coffee makes music for but it ain’t us,” the tweep tweeted.
Never being the one to let anything slide, Black Coffee responded to the criticism saying, “For the people that have been enjoying it.”
But not everyone shared the same sentiments as the critic. Some of Black Coffee’s fans joined in the conversation defending him. One tweep said: “I’m a South African and I thoroughly enjoy his current offerings.”
Black Coffee’s album hasn’t dropped yet, however nine of the 12 track album are out, with the album set for release on the 5th February 2021. Fans are still in anticipation to hear the last three remaining songs, and surely by the time they are all released, the number of streams will be sitting on an even higher number.
