Busiswa Shares Excitement For Success Of Album And Single Featuring Kamo Mphela
Powerhouse Busiswa Gqulu celebrates the success of her album My Side Of The Story and music video from the album SBWL receives just under 3 million views.
Busiswa took to social media to share her excitement for the success of both her 12-track album and specifically the music video for the single featuring Kamo Mphela SBWL. Released under Majesty Music Entertainment, Busiswa’s album features Monate hitmaker Mr JazziQ, amapiano producer Mas Musiq as well as DJ Maphorisa and Kabza De Small. In her Instagram post she mentioned that her album is almost gold and thanks audience for the streams and the downloads. Her album My Side of the Story comes after her 2018 release Summer Life featuring DJ Buckz, Rudeboyz, Dladla Mshunqisi, and Kaygee The Vibe.
Amidst celebrating the success of My Side Of The Story the singer also celebrates the triumph of her music video SBWL featuring dancer and vocalist Kamo Mphela reaching 2.7 million views on YouTube. The music video was released on the 4th of September 2020. Directed by Armsdeal the music video has a summer pool party theme to it and was a standout track for December 2020. She further mentions that she is ready to put out more music videos and encourages fans to continue supporting her.

The 32-year-old singer-songwriter and powerful performer had an incredible year in 2020 as she also featured in Beyoncé’s Black is King film in the song My Power featuring Tierra Whack, Yemi Aladem Nija and fellow South Africans artist Moonchild Sanelly and DJ Lag. The Lahla performer also featured on MTV Base’s annual Hottest MC’s List as Number 7 as the only female on the list.
