In 2020 Castle Lite had to postpone the Cardi B concert due to the coronavirus pandemic. They then then announced later on in the year that the United States of America hip hop star will grace the ‘Castle Lite Unlocks’ stage in 2021. However, it now seems like fans won’t get to see Cardi B on the stage.

Castle Lite has stated that the 2021 ‘Castle Lite Unlocks’ had to be cancelled. The company said in a statement that this is due to the ongoing struggle against the Covid-19 pandemic. “However with the second wave and rise in cases, Castle Lite strongly believes that it would be an act of grave irresponsibility to move forward with the experience. We all have to do our part to stop the virus from spreading. The second wave has brought with it more challenges and stricter regulations that means restricted travel and no public gatherings of any size.”

“So, we’ve had to make the tough but responsible decision to call off Castle Lite Unlocks 2021. Trust us, we’re just as disappointed as you are – but the health and safety of everyone involved and our shared responsibility to help stop the spread, is our highest priority,” says the Castle Lite statement. The company says that people who have valid tickets of the concert will be refunded.
