Focalistic’s “Ke Star” Remix Featuring Davido Reaches Number 1 In Three Different Countries
Focalistic’s “Ke Star” Remix Featuring Davido Reaches Number 1 In Three Different Countries. “Ke Star” remix by Focalistic featuring Davido and Vigro Deep is already number 1 in three different countries and it has not been a week since its release. The remix is just as good as the upbeat original hit and the addition of Davido’s touch gives it an edge, hence it made it on the number 1 spot in three different countries. A couple of weeks ago, Focalistic shared a video on Twitter of him hanging out with Davido, teaching him Pitori slang, and the video had both their fans excited for the “Ke Star” remix drop.
Focalistic took to social media beaming with excitement seeing how the remix is being well received in other African countries. The star also announced that there will be a music video for the remix as well to come out soon. “#1 in 3 different countries!!! Ke Star Remix Ke namba ka nnete. Music Video soon come Pitori to Lagos! #SquadSaMaradona,” posted Focalistic.
Focalistic has managed to successfully merge a distinct South African sound emerged from Pretoria with hip-hop and amapiano. He has also managed to represent the amapiano sound in Nigeria and other African countries he has had tours in. The “Ke Star” remix with Davido and Vigro Deep is another instance of South Africa’s amapiano movement spreading across Africa.
The remix makes it Focalistic’s first appearance in 2021 after he rounded things up on Ubusuku Bonke by DJ Stokie featuring DJ Maphorisa, Howard, and Bongza last year. With the “Ke Star” remix milestone, it is evident the star has more jaw dropping projects coming soon.
