Idols SA season 16 winner, Zama Khumalo has received her new Toyota Starlet 1.4 car. The star walked away with R1 million cash prize, a recording deal from Kalawa Jazmee, R150,000 worth of the latest Samsung products, R100,000 worth of fashion from Truworths, R80,000 worth of musical instruments from Yamaha, and a Kymco Xciting 400 scooter worth R120,000 as well a a car which she has finally received.

Taking to her Instagram account, the songstress was beaming with excitement as she announced the news with a picture of a her brand new wheels, captioned: “Thank you @toyota for my beautiful baby❤️Thank you @idolssa for making this happen.

Zama cried tears of joy as she was announced that she had sang her way to becoming the winner of the competition with more than 20 million votes and becoming an instant millionaire. Zama’s gap year after matric helped her win the competition.

Fans and some of her Idols SA competitors congratulated her on her new car. Jooma who was also a Idols SA contestant wrote: “Vroom vroom tshomam.”

Speaking on her new single “Ndizobizwa” last year, the star said: “My single speaks about how all my peers have been called and I’m the only one left behind – but God’s timing is the right time. It’s relevant in my life because this year with Idols, I got my calling.”
