Judith Sephuma Next Up On JazzFix Online Series. Afrojazz artist, Judith Sephuma will be setting the stage alight at the JazzFix virtual concert featuring never-before-seen footage from her sold-out 2017 performance at the Cape Town Jazz Festival. The second edition of its JazzFix one-­hour show will premiere on 27 March 2021 at 8pm on Computicket with an intimate interview with JazzFix host, Idols SA judge, TV and radio personality Unathi. The viewers will have 48 hours of unlimited views following its premiere.

The first Jazzfix showcase was in February and was a success featuring vocalist and guitarist Jonathan Butler. The second much anticipated online show featuring Judith Sephuma will sure thrill jazz lovers. Expressing her excitement on being a part of the festival, Judith said: “I’m thrilled to be part of the Cape Town International Jazz Festival’s JazzFix online series. It was a joy reliving my 2017 performance and I’m excited to share the performance with you again online and of course my wonderful conversation with host Unathi.”

Grammy award winning Judith Sephuma’s songs such as A Cry, A Smile, A Dance, Mme Motswadi, Maropeng, and Music in the Air – are classics which attracted interest from jazz, Afro-soul and gospel music lovers all over the world. Her collaboration with Michael Bolton singing the old classic “Over the Rainbow” and another with Kenny G on her A Cry, A Smile, A Dance album qualifies Sephuma as one of the best singers and performers that South Africa has produced.

The festival director, Billy Domingo said: “We had fantastic feedback from the first show and this second show with Judith Sephuma is set to be another great online experience. Judith Sephuma is a master in her class and it is an honour for us to share her incredible performance at the jazz festival with online audiences throughout the world. This is definitely a show not to be missed.”
