Kelly Khumalo Celebrates Daughter’s 7th Birthday. The Empini hitmaker, Kelly Khumalo, gave viewers perception into her personal life and her two youngsters, Christian and Thingo. Time flies however birthdays will forever be worth celebrating.

Kelly Khumalo and the late Senzo Meyiwa’s daughter Thingo have turned seven years old. However, Kelly has made sure that Thingo’s birthday was a day to remember as she hosted a princess themed birthday party and shared the snaps of every moment on her Instagram account.

Thingo looks just like her dad, the late Senzo Meyiwa as Kelly Khumalo also shared a picture of her daughter with his dad to commemorate her special day. This marks Thingo’s seventh year birthday without her dad, however, Kelly made her birthday special with friends and family.

Her fans and followers gushed over the celebration as they penned down a warm birthday wishes to Thingo. The mother of two, Kelly recently dropped the music video for her hit single titled “Ngathwala Ngaye” featuring Mondli Ngcobo; in which she says she wanted to tell a love story of Africans to the world.

Not long ago, a report had been leaked online indicating Kelly Khumalo was a person of interest in Senzo’s murder, but she denied this, describing the slain Bafana Bafana  goalkeeper as the only man he ever loved. It emerged during court that the document suggesting the police were investigating Khumalo’s cellphone record to determine if the singer was in contact with the accused should not have been made public. However, it was already posted on social media.

The document further suggested it was previously mentioned there was a lender who allegedly gave money to Khumalo and stated a statement from the lender must be obtained. “It was previously mentioned that there was a lender who advanced money to Ms Kelly Khumalo, ostensibly to pay hit men, and that this lender was pestering her for the repayment of this loan. The statement of such lender must be obtained (sic),” read the document.
