Prince Kaybee Joins Student Protest And Helps Rescue A Student Shot By The Police. It has been over a week now since the Wits students protest began over financial exclusion. Yesterday, 15 March, the protest continued and a Wits student was shot in the leg, the university’s SRC president Mpendulo Mfeka confirmed. There were also reports that several students were arrested after officers dispersed a group of protesters along the M1 near Braamfontein. The #witsprotest has been trending on social media since the beginning of the protest and South African artists also joined in the topic, while one was spotted at the protest.

Price Kaybee has saved the day with his heroic act. The DJ and producer was seen live at the University of Witswatersrand’s protest. The star joined the students in protesting for their basic human right[education]. Meanwhile, a female student was shot and injured in a clash between a protesting. Fortunately, Prince Kaybee was right next to her and immediately helped her to get medical attention and rushed to the hospital. The video in which the DJ is seen assisting the student who got shot to get into a mini-bus made rounds on social media as fans and students thanked the DJ for saving the day. “She was shot right in front of me, it’s the least I could do,” Prince Kaybee replied.

Speaking on the students’ protest, Kaybee said: “I’m inspired by the level of courage shown by the students marching for free education, even when they are bullied, beaten and shot by the police, they kept fighting. All of us should take time to support their struggle in whatever way we can. Their pain is our pain!”

Social media users were left impressed by the DJ for helping fight the everyday struggles of that most South Africans face.
